CUDA Culture provided a b-boy (break dance) showcase and demonstration at the P.S. 5 Family Fun Night on April 25, 2014. Prior to the CUDA showcase, a special performance took place at the school’s auditorium by students in the school’s break dance after school program, lead by CUDA instructor Henry Vijande.
Special thanks to Maximilian Cristobal, from Ethical Community Charter School, for joining in on the fun! Mr. Cristobal had about 12 of his students perform a special number in the cafeteria for guests during dinner.
After the performances, the dance floor was open to all parents and children to dance and continue the party, with music provided by DJ Jason.
Among those who represented CUDA Culture in the evening were CUDA board members, Juan Pinder, Rossana Villaflor, and CUDA youth leaders, William Castillo, Justin Covington, Corbin Mosby, Raja Rally, and Jaime Duran. CUDA Culture appreciates the wonderful partnership with P.S. 5 PTA, and thank Tine Pahl and Jamie Wilson-Murray for their leadership and support.
